My Nalgene (b. Feb. 20, 1999, d. Nov. 22 2003)

Taken from us in the prime of his life My Nalgene will be sorely missed. Though showing his age at almost 4 years he still had many years of active life in front of him before suddenly departing this world.

My Nalgene began life in an REI, purchased by me for a backpacking trip to the Utah Canyon lands. It served me well and was well loved. It was so scratched that little if any of the original markings remained on it. It separated itself from me in Ohio this past weekend most likely never to be seen again. It is survived by two other, lesser, Nalgenes
