Falklands
Wednesday, June 29th, 2005Over my lunch time at work I get to spend 30 minutes reading the book that I keep on my desk for that purpose as well as enjoying my tasty lunch (needless to say this is one of my favorite times of the day). For the past two weeks or so I’ve been working through a book that has been on my shelf for years that I’ve never actually gotten around to reading: The Battle for the Falklands. As the title suggests it’s a narrative of the Falklands War written from the perspective of the British; one of the authors was a war correspondant sent in with the soldiers.
It is a truly fascinating book, not in the least
